Not only does Backstage have thousands of casting calls for dozens of production types, but our filters allow you to customize your search and narrow the list down to find jobs that are perfect for you. You can save as many searches as you want, giving them a unique name and choosing if and when to receive alerts when new listings come in that match your search criteria. Saved searches are an easy-to-use and powerful tool to help you get cast!

We recently revamped our Talent Profiles to give you the best tools to help build your presence as an actor. Easily toggle between preview and editing modes to add content and see what your profile will look like to Casting Directors – all from the same place. The more information and media you add to your profile, the higher your Profile Completion Score will be, and the more likely you'll stand out and have a better chance of getting noticed.

Your profile can be accessed under the My Account link in the top right menu. The new Talent Profiles are currently in beta. Try it out by clicking the link in the blue banner at the top.

Backstage allows you to upload unlimited photos, videos, audios, and documents to your account. But sometimes you only want to share something in an application, and not have it appear in your public profile. That's what Media Locker is for. All your media is stored here, but you decide whether you want to make it public or keep it private. Media Locker also gives you the ability to crop your photos, as well as add captions to your media that Casting Directors will see if those items are included in an application.

The Backstage application system gives you the ability to save a draft when you come across a job you're interested in. Want to apply right away? The application editor makes customization a breeze – even on your phone! You can view all your active, draft, and archived applications in the My Applications tool. Sometimes a Casting Director might even invite you to apply to a role. Any invitations you receive can be found there as well.

You'll never have to risk your privacy by including your email address or phone number in your profile or applications. When a Casting Director is interested in you for a job, our Messaging system makes it easy for them to contact you directly through Backstage. You'll even get notified via email when you receive a new message in your Backstage inbox.

The Talent Dashboard provides you with an overview of all your Backstage activity. Want to quickly scan through your applications, messages, the amount of media you have, or your most recently viewed casting calls – all in one place? The dashboard is where you can see what you've been up to and any work you have to do.
